SURVIVOR BENEFIT PLAN - PAID IN 360
Not sure if you all got this from DFAS but just in case. It is important
to any and all who elected SBP. Your Federal Fathers have decided that
after you pay 360 months your are PAID UP! No more comes out of the ole
paycheck. Also you need to be 70 years of age or older to qualify. So for
those mathematically handicapped - you must be retired for 30 years and over 70. Some on my RAFIP mailing list may qualify [will happen 1 Jan 2008] Others might be getting close. See below.
Also Art Andraitis tells me Lenny Peroots is again having difficulties so I am sure he would appreciate a card or call. Last time I visited with him, he was in good shape but was back in Sept. I will stop over before Christmas.
